No, the “TOME OF WONDER” is not necessary to access the hermit's house; ANY book will do.

ABOUT THE RIDDLES OF THE WIZARD WOMAN HOUSE: One is something you eat and the other is something you drink (and causes a hangover xD). As a curiosity, I'll tell you that I found the riddle about what you eat very unclear, but I understood the one about what you drink right away xddd

PSD: Using the forum is hell, I have to refresh the screen like 10 times to be able to write something.
FOR THE METEORITE DUDE: Check the exact name of a meteorite you already have and use the console: spawn(“that_name”)
If you don't have the console enabled in Grimrock 2, search Google to find out how to enable it.

forget it, since the forum is completely broken, i had to give it a go myself and somehow managed to solve it, but it's 98,3% luck and 1.7% thinking, specially to decode bgb's english :lol:

the worse part is that i remember after that i noted these riddles in a txt file apart :lol: :D


silly me :D


while i'm at it, do you know what place it refers to ?

ah, ok for any book does the trick at rcw - didn't know for sure. Actually several items food also give the 'cling' sound at the woman's place (where i am atm) ;)

That treasure It's close to THE ARC, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it :\

I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THE RIDDLES: Bongobeat didn't invent them, and they're not even Bongobeat's vocabulary. Just type the first sentence of the riddles into Google and you'll see that they already existed online, so you can't blame Bongobeat for this XD

Hi, I am very much enjoying Call of house hardabar mod, but I can't solve the blue button puzzle in sky city, can anybody provide me with a solution, as i would very much like to obtain the dragon rifle and scroll of remove petrification that I know is behind the door.

The key to that riddle is that the correct sequence does not produce any special sound (sound that is made when doing something right).

tks Emilio, since i completed the futuritic maze (arc, lambda...), i stopped playing - i got killed stupidly in the map where one has to 'run to the west'. I wasn't very interested to continue and see the end for some reason, wached a bit some of your videos there, and that's it.

i personally think the mod lacks some consistency at some point, i'd say from deadmmarch on - don't know why. After that, for me, its more visiting various maps - even if (almost) each of them are good/very good in their own rights. But again, lacks some kind of connection for me.

I enjoy more the begining, till rhun island (and zo temple). This part is very good and more important, there is a continuity there. And then one is losing the plot. It's my personal feeling.

i still love playing this mod. There's also the fact there are too many equipments/items, not forgetting about some boss fights i don't like at all (the ambush in ravenkul literally ruins this map which could have been so much better).

Also, the loading times at the very end are horrendous (but no one's fault here)

btw, for some reason i missed 3 secrets, i'm getting mad at this, i really don't know how and where this could happened.


I also miss 2 achievements. Maybe one obtains them in the end? (i know about 'Master of the time', i think you get there when you drop the 4 gems of the moon at feanor's forge, but here too, only could catched 3).

That's silly, finish it, you're almost done, you're angry because you died like me in The Guardians from suffering constant hunger for digging a couple of times and satisfying my curiosity :D

Undead Slayer = Kill the Lich King
The Path of the Stars = Final (total) using the stargate
Master of the Time = Finding the forge of time

About Jean Bart's treasure: Did you have trouble finding the last will and testament? It was extremely difficult to find in version 204R, and a tiny change was made in 206R that I think solved that problem.

Hi there ! i have some troubles to launch the mod, after creating my characters, the loading screen apear and then instantanly crash, i've used the patch, i've tried to set the game setting in low but it's the same result, i dont know what to do :?
